1. Cookies and similar technologies

This section covers both eeatclean.com (this website) and app.eeatclean.com (the application). We list what is actually used, including browser storage that is not technically a cookie but serves a similar purpose.

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

Your session on app.eeatclean.com. When you sign in, an authentication token is kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. Without it you would be signed out on every page. It is cleared when you sign out.

Your consent choice. A single entry named eec_consent records whether you accepted or refused the categories below, so we do not ask again on every page. It contains no identifier and is never sent to our servers.

Security. Our hosting provider Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie (__cf_bm, around 30 minutes) to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. It is required to serve the site securely.

Payment

Payments are handled on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. You are redirected to checkout.stripe.com, where Stripe sets the cookies it needs to secure the transaction and prevent fraud. These are set on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's own policy, and are not readable by us.

Advertising and measurement (consent required)

Google tag (identifier AW-18374393327), provided by Google Ireland Limited. If you accept, it may set cookies such as _gcl_au (about 90 days) to measure whether a visit that came from one of our ads later led to a sign-up. We use it to know which advertising is worth continuing, not to build a profile of you.

Before you choose, this tag runs in a restricted mode with advertising and analytics storage disabled. If you refuse, it stays disabled. You can change your mind at any time through Manage cookies in the footer.

Video (loaded only when you play it)

YouTube, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Our demo video is not loaded when the page opens. It loads only if you click play, and YouTube may then set its own cookies. If you never play the video, nothing is loaded.

Session and security cookies expire when you close your browser or log out. Payment cookies expire at the end of the billing session.
